Typical first-time customers usually ask…

What happens if I go over 12 units?2025-05-16T09:20:21+00:00

There’s no need to switch plans. As soon as you add a 13th unit, we simply continue charging you £2.50 per unit.

The Compact plan covers up to 12 units. From the 13th unit onward, your subscription automatically adjusts based on your total number of units.

Is there a minimum number of units?2025-05-16T09:16:48+00:00

No. However there is a minimum monthly charge of £30, equivalent to 12 units.

So, if your subscription is less than 12 units, or decreases below 12 units you will be charged £30 monthly.

Is there a limit on the number of units I can add?2025-05-16T09:15:26+00:00

No. There is no upper limit. Knock yourself out!

Can I use COHO to manage any property?2025-05-16T09:14:44+00:00

Yes you can. You can add a single let property to COHO with 1 room, or an HMO property with 8 rooms (or more).

You can even group properties into buildings, such as a ground floor shop, first floor flat and a separate garage.

How many units are in a property?2025-05-16T09:13:13+00:00

As many as you like! As you add rooms to a property you will add units to your monthly subscription.

What is a unit?2025-05-16T09:12:41+00:00

A unit is any lettable space. This means a room or property you rent to a paying tenant. It includes entire single-let properties, HMO rooms, commercial lets, garages, and parking spaces. Communal areas such as kitchens, lounges, or shared bathrooms are not counted.

Units are included whether they are occupied, vacant, or being advertised. If you track a tenancy for it, it counts as a unit and is chargeable.
