relo helps landlords who feel their property portfolio is running them to become landlords finally in control of their portfolio allowing them to not be held back by managing tenants. Instead they can find new properties and growing their portfolio or enjoying the returns created by owning an HMO. We ONLY specialise in HMO Letting and Management only unlike most letting agents, who try and do everything, in order to best understand the HMO sector. We are investors ourselves and look after your properties as we would our own. We are proactive with our management looking to actively improve your properties and returns.

Top strengths

1. HMO Specialists
Unlike most high street letting agencies, we only let and manage HMOs. We do not deal with family houses or flats meaning we are complete specialists and only focused on letting and managing HMOs. This means we are incredibly experienced when dealing with HMOs as that is all we do. Many other agents simply do not take on HMOs due to their difficult management and complex compliance and the few that do take on them, most of the time do not fully understand the complexities that come with HMO management.
2. We are Landlords Too
We have been letting and managing HMOs long before we set up a letting agency as we built up a large personal portfolio of HMOs. Having seen how we managed our properties we were approached by a few people to manage theirs and from that Relo was born. Not only are we active in the HMO industry but we manage and treat our landlord’s properties like our own which means we go above and beyond to let rooms and look after tenants.
3. We only manage Professional HMOs
We decided very early on that we would only ever take on professional tenants for our HMOs and that is reflected in the quality of housing we manage and tenants we put in. We only let rooms to working professional tenants who we feel fit the Relo community and therefore landlords can be assured we are not putting any old person in the property and they are getting the best quality tenants for their houses, which will be better looked after and yield higher rents for quality housing.
4. We only work with Select Landlords
We only look to take on between 2-5 landlords a year to work with us and become part of the Relo brand. This means we are very select with who we work with and therefore can focus more time and effort letting and managing our landlords’ properties. We also only work with landlords we feel fit our ethos and share our values whom we like and want to work with. If a landlord would like us to manage their HMO, we would look to conduct an interview with them on why we should take them and their property on so we can really focus on working with the best houses and landlords.
5. We are totally Tenant Focused
Everything we do is tenant led and designed to provide tenants with the best possible renting experience. Be it from our welcome boxes when they move in through to discounts with local business and regular social events hosted by Relo. Our business is driven by our tenants and what they want from us and their homes. This is why we have tenants wanting to rent from us as they know we truly care about them and their experience renting through Relo.
