Survey Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter and Organiser The promoter is: Company for Life Ltd t/a COHO, whose registered office is at COHO @ The Kiln, 2 Copenhagen St, Worcester, WR1 2HB. These terms govern your participation in both COHO’s competition and the State of Shared Living 2026 Survey. By participating in either, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years and over. There is no entry fee, and no purchase is necessary. Only one entry will be accepted per person; multiple entries will result in disqualification. The survey is open to anyone who wishes to share their opinions on shared living.

3. Data Collection and Use By entering the competition or completing the survey, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined below:

  • Survey Responses: Data collected will be used for analysing opinions and trends on shared living. Responses will be anonymised and aggregated for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Email Address (Optional): If provided, your email will be used for follow-up communications related to the survey, entry into the competition, and to receive COHO communications, such as newsletters related to tenancy matters.

Your data will be securely stored and processed in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. No personally identifiable information will be shared with third parties unless explicitly consented to.

4. Competition Details The route to entry for the competition is via the survey. The competition closes on 31st July 2026 at the latest; it may close earlier, in which case participants will be notified. After the closing date, no further entries will be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.

5. Prize  The prize is a cash amount equivalent to one month’s rent at the winner’s current residence, capped at £900. A valid tenancy agreement will be required to confirm the rent. If the winner does not rent or the rent is lower than £500, a minimum prize of £500 will be awarded. The prize will be paid directly to the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification Winners will be selected at random within six weeks of the competition closing date. The winner will be notified by email within that period. It is the responsibility of entrants to ensure their email address is correct. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner.

7. Use of Winner Information The winner’s name may be published on COHO’s social media channels and email communications. By entering the competition, you consent to the use of your name and image for publicity purposes.

8. Data Retention and Your Rights  Survey responses and any associated data will be retained for as long as necessary for analysis. You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@coho.life. Under GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent for email communications at any time.

9. Changes to Terms  Any changes to the competition or survey will be notified to participants as soon as possible. The promoter’s decision regarding all matters related to the competition will be final.

10. Governing Law  These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
