The Queen granted Southend-On-sea City status in March 2022; Prince Charles delivered a Letters Patent from the Queen to a full council meeting to facilitate the new status.

Southend-On-Sea is promoted by a forward thinking city council which fully supports enviromental cleanliness with an ambition to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030, as part of its Climate Change programme.

The property is located within the desirable suburb of Westcliff-On-sea (Westcliff) which is situated on the north shore of the lower Thames Estuary, about 34 miles (55 km) east of London. Westcliff railway station (the city's oldest train station) was opened in 1895 and is now managed by the c2c. 

Excellent transport links make for convenient and comfortable living, benefitting tenants by the property's close proximity (less than half a mile) to both Southend Central and Victoria train stations. Within an hour you can be in London Liverpool Street or London Fenchurch Street. At a little over half a mile, Westcliff train station is very well situated and services London Fenchurch Street. Southend-On-sea boasts its own airport a short distance from the property at just over 2 miles door to door.
